Juicing Recipes to Help Reverse Aging


I wouldn’t say that the juice recipes discussed in this article is the elixir of youth but it contains enough antioxidants to prevent oxidative stress or damage to your body from the environment or food you eat every day. Here are some juicing recipes to help reverse aging or at least slow down the aging process.

#1 Fountain of Youth Cocktail Recipe

This first recipe uses a lot of berries and is what I call the “Fountain of Youth Cocktail”.

Berries are well known to have high content of antioxidants. This is mainly attributed to the high surface to volume ratio that ensures a relatively higher proportion of pigmented skin. Raspberries and blackberries are used in this cocktail. Check out the ingredients below!





¼” knob of ginger, unpeeled if organic

1 pint blackberries

1 pint raspberries

½ lemon


Use your juicer to blend the ginger

Next blend it with berries in the juicer

Juice the lemon by hand

Stir and serve immediately


#2 A Beeting Heart

 Beets are rich in fibre, phytochemicals and many minerals. Cantaloupe, used in this recipe also contains myoinositol, a lipid that can prevent hardening of arteries. Hence, the name! Drink this to your heart’s content!





2 medium carrots

1 beet, greens remove

½ cantaloupe melon, peeled.


Juice all ingredients and serve immediately!


#3 Liquid Ambrosia

Pomegranate is rich in Vitamin C and this makes it a very powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants help neutralize free radicals and this means less cell damage, better cell healing and hence improved wellbeing. Antioxidants help neutralize free radicals that causes oxidant damage that also damages collagen and elastin that are the building blocks of protein.

1 pomegranate fruit

2 small oranges


Slice open the pomegranate and scoop out the seeds using a spoon.

Juice the pomegranate seeds in a juicer of your choice while manually juice the orange using your hands

Stir together and serve. ENJOY!


#4 Green Monster



This recipe uses a combination of a lot of healthy vegetables that you may not drink so often. Think of vegetableslike wheatgrass, celery and spinach leaves.This “Green Monster Recipe”uses these ingredients. But take note, not all juicers work well juicing vegetables especially wheatgrass as they need special wheatgrass juicers or masticating juicers to help make the job easier.

1 cup wheatgrass

1 celery stalk with leaves

1 handful spinach leaves

2 kale leaves

½ lemon, peeled.


Prepare wheatgrass shot in a wheatgrass juicer or blender

Juice all the remaining ingredients in the recipe

Stir and serve immediately

You will certainly need a different kind of juicer if you are planning to juice some of the vegetables and wheatgrass found in the recipe above. Normal centrifugal juicers will not do the job well.
