Orange Juice Recipes – Delightfully Refreshing and Healthy!

Orange juice recipes are one of the easiest to do and one of the most versatile juice recipes you can try. You can mix a dozen different types of ingredients.

Of course, if you don’t feel so adventurous, you can always try less. They don’t taste bad at all. In fact, some of the best orange juice recipes are limited to about 4- 5 ingredients.

One thing you need to know about oranges is that they are citrus fruits. They belong to the same family as lime, lemon, kumquat, tangerine, grapefruit and a whole more other citrus fruits which you can learn from here.

Citrus fruits require a different way of juicing that includes:

  • Squeezing them with a Squeezer
  • Using a Reamer
  • Juicing them with a Fork
  • Or Just A Juicer

 

Juicing them with any of the above methods is fine but since we are using juicers here, we shall go ahead and use them for all our orange juice recipes!

Orange Juice Recipe #1 – Tropical Fruit Mix

Ingredients

1 orange

1 -2 small slice of pineapple

1 small slice of mango

2 kiwi fruits

 

Instructions: Gather all the ingredients. Remove the outer skin of your orange. Make sure you remove the outer fibrous skin of your kiwi fruits as well. Remember to add smaller pieces of each fruit into your juicer as they will juice easier. Once made, drink them when fresh!

What I Think About It

This recipe is a tropical take using oranges. There are many ways you can do this tropical orange juice recipe but certainly this is one of the most delicious and refreshing recipes you can make at home.

 

Orange Juice Punch Recipe (#2)

They are several variations to the orange juice punch recipe. This is my version on it:

Ingredients

4-5 oranges

1 lemon

1 lime

Finely grated ginger

 

Instructions: Preparation is easy. All you got to do is slice your oranges into smaller pieces. Finely grate your ginger. Don’t worry too much about the amount of ginger. Once all your ingredients are ready, place them into a juicer or if you prefer to get more of the pulp (which makes it taste so much better!), then by all means do it!

What I Think About This Recipe

I love the sweetness that comes from the orange, while the acidity from the lemon nicely cuts through that sweetness. The added aroma and spicy taste from ginger gives this orange juice punch an extra kick! I really love this recipe. You definitely got to try making it yourself.

 

The Sweet Green Orange Juice Recipe (#3)

This recipe is a mixture of veges and fruits but you will love it as well.

Ingredients

1 orange

1 apple

2 cups of kale

1 cucumber

2 celery stalks

 

Instructions: For best results, I would suggest using a masticating juicer otherwise wrap the veges around the fruits prior to juicing. This will improve juice yield.

What I Think About This Recipe

This recipe is different but it tastes sweet, healthy an delicious. If you can maintain all the fibre and pulp after juicing, you will feel incredibly full after taking this, not to mention much healthier. This mix of fruits and veges into one recipe makes it a juice filled with antioxidants, phytonutrients and minerals for good health.
